Hum... pretty massive gap for a Honda. Maybe try to see if you can’t reduce it a little? Honda’s are known to have smaller gaps between panels than GM usually haha :)

Or maybe the whole bumper is a bit down if it got a little hit at one point in its life? Getting the lights positioned slightly higher up and moving the whole bumper/grill piece like 0.7/0.8 cm to get a smaller gap there...

The outside has been bumped a lot, that’s why I need to replace half of the panels. If you take time and really really look you’ll see things are slightly off all over the place.

So uh, what did you do with the old hood? Is there a metal recycler that comes to you? Or are you stuck with it until you arrange for the municipality comes and picks it up? (Surely the normal garbage pickup doesn’t take these, even on unburnables day.)

It’s sitting in my backyard, postage stamp size as it is, in the box the new one came in. Once I am done, there’s a recycler nearby, to whom I’ll probably bring the panels.

Looking at the facelift pic, it looks like the gap is there intentionally. Kind of like the LFA, I guess?
